Credo, along with the Dallas Street Choir, has accepted an invitation by the Weill Music Institute to perform at Carnegie Hall on Wednesday, June 14, 2017. Never in its 126-year history has Carnegie Hall hosted a performance by a musical ensemble comprised solely of those experiencing homelessness.

Also debuting on this concert will New York City's Valley Lodge Shelter Choir. This ensemble is just a few years old and rehearses occasionally. The choir is comprised of those experiencing homelessness.

Frederica von Stade, a world-renowned mezzo-soprano and loyal Dallas Street Choir advocate, has agreed to perform on this program, as has legendary Broadway composer, Stephen Schwartz (Pippen, Godspell, Wicked). Opera and song composer, Jake Heggie (Dead Man Walking, Great Scott, Moby Dick) will also be performing . Other special guests will be announced as schedules are confirmed.

300 tickets to this event have been donated to New York City's Department of Homeless Services so that those living on the streets of New York are able to attend this performance free of charge. All remaining seats will be available for purchase from the Carnegie Hall Box Office for $25. Proceeds benefit Credo and the Dallas Street Choir.
